30/04/2005 - April 2005 - Star Member Awarded to Mandy Elcock
This, the first "Star Member", has been awarded to Mandy Elcock and her dogs Storm & Wilf. In Ian's own Words;
"Mandy is Star of the Month due to her sheer persistance in getting it right even when the dogs were playing her up and having the odd bite. She is always ready to have a go and always has a laugh at herself when she gets it wrong."
"The Barkaway saying in training is 'never follow Mandy', I dont know why this is, perhaps some one can tell us?"
"Mandy's hard work is now starting to pay off with the dogs starting to perform to the correct specification i.e understanding what Mandy wants them to do."
"Keep up the hard work Mandy it will be worth it in the end especially when you pick up those trophies this season."
