13/03/2006 - Progress Award - Jan/Feb 2006
Now we are well into the 2006 season, and we have had our 1st winner of the progress award put up by the social club.
The well deserved winning pair of the award are Pauline Clements and her Lurcher dog Geordie.

This pairing have achieved so much in a short space of time, culminating already this season with the ABC semi finals which are held in June, at the Tatton park show.
Pauline joined Barkaway approx 4 years ago at an all time low regarding her agility situation, but has proved all her critics wrong I am very pleased to say.
It has not been an easy road for Pauline and Geordie with many an hour spent on the agility training course in all winds and weather, but you know from a trainers point of view that if training is on Pauline will be there regardless, if it is raining, snowing, gales or an heat wave she will be there, she just wants to train and improve all the time a credit to herself and Barkaway and of course her other club Bromsgrove.
I believe that Pauline and Geordie would have been most people’s choice for this award simply because of what they have achieved and the way they have gone about it.
I look forward to even greater things from this pairing and really wish them well in the ABC semi finals, as I believe everyone connected to Barkaway and Bromsgrove do.
Well done to both of them.
