Time for a news update, with the outdoor season, soon to start.
March training will be all on Saturdays, & then we go to evenings in April, Mondays 6.30.to 8.30 & Tuesdays the same, Wed will be 1 class only which at present is for younger dogs. If you are going to continue training in the evenings please let me know ASAP especially if you have a preferred night, if you are unable to train mid week and have to drop out, again it would be appreciated if you could let me know ASA, number of places is limited FIRST COME FIRST SERVED.
Well done to all the members at the xmas presentations, excellent achievement by you all, the question is are you going to retain those trophies?
Ok the social club is going well, so well done the organisers; I hope as many of you support the events as possible, these people are doing it for nothing on your behalf.
Remember you need to join the social club to be eligible for the prizes at the year-end; the social club are also putting up a progress award, which is going to award every 2 months. Membership I believe is £2.50 per annum.
We have entered a number of teams at 3 shows if you are interested please keep an eye on the notice board, team training will commence again in March on Sunday Mornings, but this is only for members who run for Barkaway teams only.
Now for the bad news due to people booking places and then not taking them up. I will not be keeping places open in future, so if you want to train you need to pay on week 5 to retain your place, as always it is the odd few that ruin it for the rest sorry for this, it is the 1st time since we started that this has happened and I hope the last.
People who wish to camp with the Barkaway mad hatters need to put this on their entry form, plenty of fun ahead I think this year, especially if last year is anything to go on. But give this some serious consideration, not for the faint hearted.
We have just placed an order for Barkaway clothing, all clothing has to be paid for in the next 2 weeks please prior to delivery being made. A big thank you to all have purchased clothing,
Once again the progress you are all making makes me feel good about this season, it will also be interesting to see how we get on in the points league for clubs this is the first season we have joined the points league should be interesting to see how we do. Remember you need to be in the agility eye for your points to count.
Next social club event is March 3rd, this is a fish & chips etc night complete with quiz and karoke, raffle etc names to Ken, Janice, Dawn, asap venue as before in Cutnall Green.
Well I think that is it for now, just remains for me to wish you all good luck for the 2006 season, go show them what you can do.
