BarkAway Agility has been around for a few years now and is run by Ian Smith. Ian has has many numerous successes with his dogs, and frequently gets asked to run Training Seminars at some of the top Agility events.

Ian is also asked to do judging as well, but where he gets most enjoyment from is running his own dogs and, through his own club, pass his wealth of knowledge on to others.

" Barkaway agility was started in the year of the millenium primarily to have some where to do some additional training for my own dogs.

But then I was sort of badgered into doing some private training for a couple of friends, who by the way still train with me to this day.

I have been doing agility for many years now. I first started training with Worcester Agility where I am still a member.

I got to crufts in 2003 where I reached the final 8 in the Senior Singles Agility competetion.

In the past I have won the CSJ Novice Final, the CSJ Senior Challenge and judged the CSJ Final (one of my favourite competitions).

At Crufts in 2005 I came 3rd in the Senior Singles Agility Final as well as winning the Singles Circular Knockout.

I qualified for Olympia in 2005 with two of my dogs, and again in 2006.

So all in all it we have had some good years for myself as well as all the members of Barkaway Agilty."
